A Brief Intro to Google Product Ads

There has been a recent surge in advertising on the internet, particularly on search engines like Google. If traditional PPC advertising was not enough, Google has now introduced Google Product Ads; a form of advertising that includes detailed product information such as the price, product image and merchant name.

So… when internet users search for a product / phrase on the internet, if the phrase searched is relevant to your product then your product will be displayed in this rich format. If you have Google Ads set up then it is likely that your ads will receive a greater level of engagement. We live in a fast paced environment and more often than not users do not have the time to spend hours upon hours searching for that new leather jacket for example. Therefore if your products are immediately displayed to internet users in a clear and accessible format, users will be able to engage with your ad, direct through to your website and hopefully complete that all important sale.

Google Product Ads are also managed by Adwords, therefore you would need an Adwords account to be able to generate and link up your products on the internet. As Google Product Ads is a form of advertising you will of course have to pay. However Google Product Ads are only charged on a CPA basis, therefore you only pay for conversions.

Google Products Ads are proving a successful way of showcasing the products that a business has to offer and can often lead to a positive return on investment.
