The Importance of Feed Readers to Social Media Management

Social Media and blogging is a huge factor for success for online businesses and it can be difficult to manage your sourcesĀ of informationĀ so that you can have a constant amount of content coming in, to keep companies’ social media and blogs ticking along.

You can easily just google topics to write about, but you end up going back and forth searching and the end result is you get in a muddle about what websites were best and you just wish that all these resources were in one place! Trust me I’ve been there!

This is where the importance of having a feed reader account for managing your clients and making sure that you have a great list of resources at your disposal in a really simple and easy way.

Sites like Feedly, gives you the opportunity to add a website url, for it to give you a news feed of what that website has been posting, giving you a clear and manageable way of having news resources.

And better still you can add multiple website url’s so you can have a wide range of blogs, news and other sites coming in as soon as they are posted. And those added websites are displayed very neatly in a tool bar, as shown below.

The greatest things about sites like Feedly, if you have something like 15 Facebook pages and 7 blogs to manage for clients, you can have a quick, easy and stress free way of gathering sources for blog posts and social media. And most importantly they are neatly stored so it’s impossible to lose anything you were reading before!

And better still, there are numerous feed readers out there, which means you will definitely find one that suits you best!

I would definitely recommend Feedly, because of its ridiculously simple design and easy to navigate interface. It’s free too, which is always a massive bonus and the site has helped me out so much during my social media and blogging I would be lost without it.
