At WNW Digital we have developed a successful and growing business and feel it is important to put something back into the community. We look to do this in several ways.
We have strong links with local schools, especially Exmouth Community College, with whom we are a Gold level partner. Since the early days of running our business we have offered Work Experience to a number of students, from Exmouth and other local schools, allowing them to get an insight into the workings of a digital marketing agency.
This rewarding experience has lead to some students progressing to do web design courses at University; in fact several of our work experience students have graduated and are now at design agencies in Devon and London. This confirms our belief that today’s young people are capable of working hard and achieving remarkable levels of high quality work when challenged and motivated to do so.
We also work with The Training Partnership in Torquay www.ttpl-uk.com to offer work placements to students and recent graduates from across Europe.
Our support of local youth and our interest in sport combined when we agreed back in 2001 to sponsor the website of up and coming local sailors, Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield. In the following years RogersGlanfield went on to become the World Number One ranked boat in the 470 Dinghy racing and have captured Silver medals in the World Championships and at both the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics.
We are still working with Joe since his retirement from competitive sport.
In 2010 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we nominated WESC Foundation as our Charity of the Year. WESC provide support and expert care to visually impaired young people, many who have severe and complex needs as well as visual impairment.
You can find out more about WESC on their website www.wescfoundation.ac.uk/
They remain our favourite charity partners today.
Our Managing Director, Nigel Wilkinson is also very active with Exmouth Chamber of Commerce, sitting on the Chamber Executive committee and having been Chair from 2009-2011.
WNW Digital are proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, to demonstrate our support for the British Armed Forces.
We take great pleasure in supporting our local and global community and look forward to developing our links with all these organisations.
