Successful Blogging In 3 Simple Steps

Relevant Content

Blog about relevant topics – If someone shows an interest in your blog feed, they are more than likely looking for information related to the industry you work in. For example if you work in the fashion industry, someone reading your blog would expect to see content that perhaps suggests outfit ideas, news about the latest fashion show or the newest design etc. They would not expect to read content about the newest range of kettles that Tesco has on offer. If you want to generate a targeted following then make sure your content is relevant and of interest to the following that you want to attract.

Digestible Content

Is your blog content easy to digest? Make sure you write your content in a language that your readers will understand. For example don’t use too much technical jargon if you know your readers are not technically minded. If they are unable to understand the topics that you are blogging about/ find the content confusing and complicated it is highly likely that they will disregard your blog feed for future reference.

Keyword Optimised Content
Insert keywords – Blogging on a regular basis not only works wonders in terms of generating a targeted following of people it can also hugely benefit your SEO (search engine optimisation). This is because blogging provides you the opportunity to insert your keywords on a regular basis. The search engines will recognise that you are producing new and relevant content and will therefore give your website a better listing.
