If you have been running a business page on Facebook it is likely that you will have noticed the latest changes that Facebook has recently implemented. Facebook has described these changes as part of the process in creating a more streamlined look for it users.
There is hope that with this new streamlined look that has seen a mix around of the timeline layout and the introduction of additional features which are now easily accessible at the top of the page, users will be able to find the information they are seeking more easily and accurately.
So what changes will we see?
In particular this new streamlined design will support those page admins who manage various Facebook business pages. The new layout will highlight those tools that admin users frequently use hopefully making their Facebook management a lot easier.
For example some of the tools now featured at the top of the timeline page include the tabs: “edit pages”, “build audience” and” see insights.” These new features will help improve the management of Facebook pages as they are fundamental aspects that contribute to the success of any business page.
The timeline design is now more compact and organised. On the right hand side of your business Facebook page you will now see a column that is dedicated to showing recent posts by others on your timeline.
On the left hand side when someone visits your Facebook page they will now be presented with a column that displays important company information including website URL, contact number, location and map, photos and videos etc.
PAGES TO WATCH FEATURE
This new feature is one that seems to be stirring up a lot of interest amongst Facebook administrators as page watch will allow users to compare and analyse similar business pages to theirs. This way administrators will be able to monitor the success of other pages, see what type of posts they are creating, see which posts are generating interest in the hope that administrators will be able to use this information to improve their own business pages.
