Visual content is one of the most important things when it comes to your online marketing campaigns, because the majority of users (whether it be on social media posts or your pay-per-click adverts) will remember the visual part of your campaign over the text.
According to research, having images increases the user’s willingness to read the piece of content by 80% and content that has a relevant image(s) gets 94% more views than content without it.
It is extremely important that you have an image that is not only relevant to your campaign, but also engages the users because that is the first thing they will see.
Social media is absolutely flooded with videos and the amount of videos that are being viewed is getting bigger by the day. This means that businesses have a great opportunity to create videos to market their business or product.
It was reported that between April and November of last year, the average daily video views on Facebook alone was a staggering 8 billion! Which just goes to show the fantastic opportunity businesses have to market through videos.

The video had a fantastic amount of engagement and reached over 5,800 people, which is a number we wouldn’t have it if it wasn’t a video.
This is where Instagram has become so popular because that is visual content based and it’s not surprising that it has grown by over 400 million users since September last year.
